Emigration to New England
On 29 March 1638, in Maldon, Thomas Ruck, gentleman, and [Abraham] Hawkyns (his servant) took the oaths of supremacy and allegiance, "the said persons being bound for the plantations in America called newe-England".[8]
Thomas emigrated to New England aboard the Castle of London, arriving in Charlestown in the Massachusetts Bay Colony in July 1638.[21][22]
