HIGH POINT - Mrs. Naomi May Gage, 105, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 23, 2004.
The funeral will be held on Monday at Pine Island United Methodist Church in Bokeelia, Fla., where she was the last living founding member of the church. She was born on May 10, 1899, in Cardwell, Mo., to Charles and Fannie Long Hervey. Mrs. Gage was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ford Gage and a son, John Ford Gage. Mrs. Gage was past president of the Pine Island, Fla., Civic Association and was past matron of the Eastern Star in Bellflower, Mo. Mrs. Gage is survived by two daughters, Patricia Hoehle and husband Donald of Columbia, Mo., and Betty McClintock and husband Conrad of High Point; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
