        WINSLOW -- Lowell "Pinchy" Nelson, 90, of Winslow, Indiana, died December 26, 2003, at the Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg, Ind. He was born November 8, 1913, in Pike County, Indiana, to the late Bert and Sarah Lee Nelson.

        He married Fern B. McRoberts on August 8, 1936, in Mount Carmel, Illinois, and she preceded him in death on November 16, 1985. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Denzil Nelson.

        He is survived by a daughter, Charlene Anderson of French Lick, Ind.; son-in-law, Robert "Andy" Anderson of French Lick, Ind.; grandson, Steve Anderson of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Bertha Lee Mosley of Decatur, Ill.; brother, Kenneth "Tot" Nelson of Chandler, Ind.; and nieces and nephews.
