Narrative

from Joe Robling,
"Peter, received a grant of land from England in the Welsh Neck tract of South Carolina about 1740. This land is still known as Roblyn's Neck [current day Darlington Co, SC]. The first Peter died before 1755 in SC... [probably] part of a Welsh community who came from the Welsh Tract in Delaware and PA in the 1730's to SC. Many of these Welsh settlers were members of Welsh Baptist churches, and several of them came over from Pembrokeshire in Wales in about 1701."

Joe Robling has also published a monograph, "The Roblyn family of Roblyn’s Neck", c2013
