Nora Jewell Russell Yarbrough Chandler
CHANDLER, NORA JEWELL RUSSELL YARBROUGH, beloved mother, grandmother and a devoted Christian went home to be with her Lord on April 20, 2004. She was born on January 26, 1910 in Coalgate, Oklahoma and lived in the Dallas area for 75 years. She is preceded in death, by husbands, John E. Yarbrough Sr. of 50 years and T. K. Chandler; daughter, Noreta Yarbrough Jennings and grandson, James Golden. Survivors include son, John E. Yarbrough Jr., and grandchildren, Sue Yarbrough Sherbert, China Yarbrough Morrison, Peggy Yarbrough Hunter, Debbie Golden, Larry Jennings, Michael Jennings and Janice Jennings Johnson along with numerous great and great great grandchildren, several nieces, and many cherished friends. She was a long time member of The Oaks Baptist Church formally First Baptist Church of Oak Cliff Services will be held at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel on 10:00 AM, Saturday April 24, 2004 with Interment immediately following at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
