Wonderful stuff here! I'm researching Noble Montgomery Brackinreed. He was my great grandfather's best friend for life. I have a photo of them if you want a copy. And Noble's 2nd wife's name was Mary Ann McGee Goldie. I haven't done much to research her, but 2 of the kids, John N Brackinreed and Lena Brackinreed, are John N. Goldie and Lena Goldie. They have data on line as well. Thanks for posting all of this. It did help me fill out the Brackinreed line a bit. And it shows me that my opinion was right, those folks from Haldimand bonded together, intermarried, and that the George C. Herron (Harron) I found in 1851 with the Elijah Kindree family. They intermarried with the Mino family, and my great grandfather, George, was first living with Elijah, then with the Mino's. I just wanted to see some things about Noble, and found even more of the same story. So, my confirmation came from your site. Forever grateful!

I am descended from Hans Diebold Lederman and Anna Maria Engel (Engler?) through my father's mother, Susan Ermina Warrenfells by her marriage to my grandfather, Arthur Edward Yates, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Her Warrenfells family moved from Frederick County, Maryland, to the lafayette/Chickamauga, Georgia area of NW Georgia around 1870, where many relatives still reside today.

Hi Kyle,Thank you so much for posting information on John Boyd Sr from "John BOYD of Berkley Co WV, by Gordon W PAUL". I've been trying to figure out his parentage---especially whether he originated in England, Scotland, or Ireland---and your book excerpt is really helpful. If Robert Boyd of Ulster, N. Ireland is his father, and it sounds like he could well be, then he must have emigrated from Ulster to America shortly after his son's John's birth (in 1735). Would love to pin this one down! Thanks for all your contributions-Laura Stout England

I searched for my grandmother, Roma Estelle (Davenport) Wolfe. I found your entries on My Family Tree. What I saw and by asking my dad seems to be very accurate. My grandmother had another sister that may be one of the "living" Davenports. Her name is Mae Jewell (Davenport) Radcliffe (sp).

Amanda Miley who is said to have married William W. Phillips 9 July 1863 in Petersburg, Pike Co., IN. They are my ancestors down to Ethel Mae Phillips who married William Sanford Eoff as her 2nd husband. Do you have any documentation on The Miley's and Davisson/Davidson marriages? I haven't been able to get past Henry C. and Evaline. Thanks.

I knew your mother, Lee McRoberts, at Highland Park High school in Dallas, Texas. We were good friends and she was instrumental in introducing me to Jesus Christ. I have wondered about her for many years and just tonight my daughter told me how to reach her information. I'm sad to find out she died in 2005 but am happy for her life and for the gift she gave to me many years ago.
