My direct ancestor is also Joseph Davenport thru the line or Robert Rodolphus Davenport and his son Nick Davenport I. My father was (d1984) Nick davenport III. My brother is Nick IV and his son is V. All the DavenportsI knew in AL are now deceased. However others are surely still alive that I have never met. But I do have cousins from the same line of my aunt, who married F.H. Philip Hammann was my Grandfather 6 times removed...He and Christina were reinterred from Bellefont in Jackson County, AL to The Valley Head Cemetery in Valley Head,AL - Dekalb Co. I was an organizing member of The Phillip Hammond D.A.R. Chapter in Ft. Payne, AL...my grandchildren were members of the Phillip Hammond C.A.R. Chapter in Jackson, Ky.
Do you know any of the lineage of Annette Hammond Worthy, dau. of William Hammond of Goodwater, AL? She lives here in a military widows community in Shalimar, FL....Ralph Hammond, Poet Laureate Emeritus of Alabama is my uncle..he passed on Dec. 12, 2010...Haralson Hammond was my father..Kenneth Hammond is my twin brother...

Mary had several children in Pike County, Indiana including an India Chambers (listed as name of Indian) who married a Peter Pressey and had several children - she must have died about 1865 to 1868 because Peter remarried.
