"...Jemima is my ancestor.Her husband was killed in Civil War and she carried 2 very young children to Carter Co Ky.She had kin folk there.Her children :William Taylor Johnson 1853 and Rebecca Ann Johnson 1855.girl died soon after getting to carter Co.The boy was my g-grandfather.Jemima was known as "the old Indian woman"in Ky but she was from white people unless someone on here knows differently(?)William Davenport was in law enforcement before and after the Civil war...."
