Deceased Name: Rose Ellen Myers
Funeral services for Rose Ellen Myers (nee Brown) of Cary were held Feb. 18 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, Cary. Born March 30, 1916, in Chicago, she died Feb. 14 in Crystal Lake.Mrs. Myers was a member of the Cary Senior Citizens and past president of the Cary-Grove Young at Heart Club. She was active in the Sts. Peter & Paul Religious Education Program, the PADS program at Sts. Peter & Paul, and the Community Companion Volunteers.
She is survived by a daughter, Rosie (Steve) Gilfether of Cary; and a granddaughter, Erika Gilfether of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil V.; and her parents, John and Ellen (nee O'Leary) Brown.
Burial was in Windridge Cemetery, Cary. Arrangements were made with Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, Cary.
