The death of Uriah is recorded on the Maple Root Church of Coventry Rhode Island. [FHL#974.5 V2a Rhode Island Vital Records Vol. 10:155]

His will was made 17 Jun 1788. It was probated in Plainfield, Windham, Connecticut

17 Oct 1791. [Plainfield Probate Vol 9:172-175. FHL#05444] in his will he gives Voluntown as his place of residence, but the area where he lived became Sterling Twp in 1794 when Sterling was formed from Voluntown.

        I have no evidence that this is the same Uriah Franklin who was born in 1720, other than the fact that another Uriah Franklin (possibly his son) joined the church June 1, 1793, and thus the death record is not likely for his son Uriah.
