Davenport, Erma B., 92, retired Grace Hospital registered nurse, died Thursday, May 18, 2000. Service 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Kechi Cemetery. Survivors: daughter, Sandra Gilley of Hutchinson; sister, Ilene Hoy of Tulsa; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with American Diabetes Association and Hospice of Reno County. Heritage Funeral Home.

Erma B. Davenport, 92, of Hutchinson, died May 18, 2000, at Hutchinson Good Samaritan Village.
She was born Jan. 7, 1908, at Kechi, the daughter of Ed Carl and Ethel Mae Rundell Carlson. A Hutchinson resident since 1952, she was a retired registered nurse who had worked at Grace Hospital in Hutchinson.
She belonged to Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson.
On July 9, 1934, she married Freeman G. Davenport at McPherson. He died Jan. 29, 1960.
Survivors include: a daughter, Sandra Gilley, Hutchinson; a sister, Ilene Hoy, Tulsa; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Carlson.
