Numerous trees claim this Michael is son of Christian Miller without sources, but would be a good guess to descend from the documented settler along Yadkin - http://www.martygrant.com/genealogy/miller/miller-christian-surry.htm ). He married Eleanor Turner and moved to Sangamon Co, IL. However known sons of Jacob do not include a Thomas or Michael.

  Narrative

1820: Salisbury, Rowan Co, NC with known children, but no Elizabeth (next door to Wiley Coats) but 6 doors away is Sarah Miller with numerous daughters.
In 1810, the only Miller in Salisbury is "George Miller" with what looks like 5 brothers in the hh. Might be Thomas and Nancy but no children.

Possible parents of Elizabeth but unproven - Just as likely Elizabeth is only a neice of Thomas Miller. Family from jnlklm's family tree on ancestry.com
