BIOGRAPHY: Came to America at age one; Freeman in Connecticut in 1654 andtook the Massachusetts Freeman's oath on March 26, 1661. Was Hadley representative in 1677 and 1680-84. Was a selectman, lieutenant of horse(?), and deacon. He brought accusation against Mary Webster when she was accussed of witchcraft; but, she was acquited.
