This William Holleman is NOT the son of William Holleman and Rebecca Barham of Southampton County, VA who died in 1803.

There were other Holleman's early on in Jackson Co, TN and Elijah, s/o Mark Holleman and Nancy Glenn, was probably his brother or cousin. In the 1812 census:

Mark Holleman 1 son under 10 (would be Elijah)
James Holloman 1 son under 10
and grouped together:

"I am looking for information on a Thomas HOLLIMAN with possible wife Sarah (??? HOWARD) who were in Jackson Co. TN beginning around 1810. They had a daughter named Sarah Howard Holliman in 1804 in Wilson Co. TN and then moved to Jackson Co. TN. Sarah Howard Holliman married James Logan GRAVES in 1828 in Jackson Co. TN.
