"Nicholas was a Major in the U S Air Force during WW II, He served in China, Burma, and India. After dsicharge in 1946, he managed the Davenport Air Service with his partner W O Davenpot until 1949. He then briefly was a salesman for Rains Wholesale Comany and then he traveled for Parasise and Company of Atlanta, GA, from 1952 to 1970. They were Prebyterian. "
