Possible Daniel followed her from Posey because there is a "David Huffhine" b.1830 TN is a laborer in Lynn, Posey Co, IN 1880 census who does not appear as a David in any other census. Mrs. Elizabeth Thomas is a widow hh in White Co, IL 1880.

Lula Huffines b.1886 death certificate says father Daniel Huffines and mother Sarah Faulkner! Her mother was actually Sarah A Forkum, and the father was Daniel Marion Huffines. This could indicate a closer association between these distant Huffines.
