Per William Carey Hardy son of Ruth Hollingsworth Hardy: His Aunt Alda Hollingsworth b. 1899 at White Mound, TX stated that Elizabeth Wheeler Davenport came to White Mound from Davenport, Iowa on Christmas Day, 1867 with 6 other wagons of families settling in White Mound. The group included Millie Ann & John Hollingsworth and their daughter, Kate and other children. It also included the Horn family.
