From: "Rochelle White" -
"I recently hired a researcher in VA to do Louisa Co., VA research on the Trice family. She found a power of attorney filed in Louisa Co., VA dated 1820 listing James, William and Jesse Trice and Gideon Gooch all of Limestone Co., AL. Gideon Gooch married Ann Trice 17 Dec 1817 in Louisa Co. We feel that the above listed are a family of brothers and sister. I know Jesse was born in VA ca 1[7]90 and died in Jackson Co., AL between 1836 and 1840. He married Lydia Arnett in Orange Co., 22 Nov 1813. We feel that William Trice and Mary Watkins could be the parents of James, Jesse, William and Ann."
