Note! The death cert filled out by his brother "Carlis" says his parents were Henry Davenport and Mary Simpson! Apparently Carlis was trying to conceal the scandal. Sterling shot and killed his wife for sleeping with another man. Death cert says "Widowed" and cause of death "bullet wound of heart and abdomen".
