Bio from one of his papers -
"Ron Allan is Assistant to the Dean for Research and Data services in the Office of Student Financial Services at Georgetown University. He holds a degree in Industrial Management from the University of Cincinnati's program in co-operative education, as well as an MBA from the same institution. He also holds a Ph.D. in Economics from George Washington University and a Master of Taxation from Georgetown University. He has held positions in the Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic Analysis and in the Tax Analysis Division of the Congressional Budget Office. His previous publications include, "A Taxonomy of Tuition Discounting" and "A Cluster Analysis of Horizontal Tax Equity", the latter with Harvey Iglarsh of GeorgeTown's McDonough School of Business. He became interested in Data Warehousing and data modeling by virtue of his position on Georgetown University's Data Warehouse Steering Committee."
