Obit in The Windsor Star, Aug 14, 1959:
" Life Devoted To Missions
A former United Church missionary in China for 38 years, Mrs. C. Gage Allan, died today after a long illness. She was 80

Mrs Allan was born in Kansas. In 1906 she married Dr Frank F Allan and went with him to China. Mrs. Allan was a nurse. In 1933 Dr. Allan died. Mrs. Allan remained in China until 1946 when she returned to Toronto. She came to Windsor three years ago.
