John Knowles of Hampton, New Hampshire is my first decedent born in Colonies. I did have a complete listing of the Knowles right to my Grandmother Lillian Maud Knowles of Essex, Massachusetts. 1910-2005. I can't seem to find the complete list that I had traced myself from the book at the moment. My grandmothers niece had a book that I believe she had published with everyone of the Knowles since John. I have a picture of the 1660 home in Hampton, NH that I took my self. It was in the Knowles family till 1957 when it was lost to taxes and the next owner was a doctor who lived there until his mother accidentally burned the house down starting from the kitchen. I went back to see it again and a post man told me about the fire. I also downloaded the home as it was in the 1800's and in the 50's I believe.

Shadrack Taylor is my grandfather several generations ago. I found the Find-A-Grave memorial for him and contacted Lanita but I could not reconcile my information with hers. I found your information and followed your links to discover that the James Taylor, Jr. (Shadrack Taylor's father) that I had researched and documented agreed with Ralph Eugene Taylor's information which validated my research. I appreciate the time you take and the effort you make to post your findings on the Internet. I would like to correspond via email and share some of my findings with you. Tell me, are you related to Shadrack? If so, how?I do not know anything about HTML. You can reach me by my email address if you care to do so.Again, I appreciate your research. I followed three incorrect pedigrees for Shadrack before discovering the correct one. I just cannot go any farther back in history than "Abraham" Taylor, Sr. (~1630 -) and thus cannot document any ancestors in England.I, too believe the Taylor line goes back to "Shadochurst," (spelling varies) England in the 1370s. Have you found the connection?

Wonderful stuff here! I'm researching Noble Montgomery Brackinreed. He was my great grandfather's best friend for life. I have a photo of them if you want a copy. And Noble's 2nd wife's name was Mary Ann McGee Goldie. I haven't done much to research her, but 2 of the kids, John N Brackinreed and Lena Brackinreed, are John N. Goldie and Lena Goldie. They have data on line as well. Thanks for posting all of this. It did help me fill out the Brackinreed line a bit. And it shows me that my opinion was right, those folks from Haldimand bonded together, intermarried, and that the George C. Herron (Harron) I found in 1851 with the Elijah Kindree family. They intermarried with the Mino family, and my great grandfather, George, was first living with Elijah, then with the Mino's. I just wanted to see some things about Noble, and found even more of the same story. So, my confirmation came from your site. Forever grateful!
