Howdy, trying to learn more about Larry McRoberts. Have a pretty good match on his Gedmatch Kit. I'll look through your tree and see if I can find the connection.

I have a possible father for William S Dennis, husband to Aurelia Myrtle Gage. I have Travis Dennis born 1827 in Culpeper, VA. Supposedly this is the origin of Indian ancestry in my family, although I can't confirm nor trace back any further. Let me know if you would like any other info, or look at my tree on ancestry.com

Shadrack Taylor is my grandfather several generations ago. I found the Find-A-Grave memorial for him and contacted Lanita but I could not reconcile my information with hers. I found your information and followed your links to discover that the James Taylor, Jr. (Shadrack Taylor's father) that I had researched and documented agreed with Ralph Eugene Taylor's information which validated my research. I appreciate the time you take and the effort you make to post your findings on the Internet. I would like to correspond via email and share some of my findings with you. Tell me, are you related to Shadrack? If so, how?I do not know anything about HTML. You can reach me by my email address if you care to do so.Again, I appreciate your research. I followed three incorrect pedigrees for Shadrack before discovering the correct one. I just cannot go any farther back in history than "Abraham" Taylor, Sr. (~1630 -) and thus cannot document any ancestors in England.I, too believe the Taylor line goes back to "Shadochurst," (spelling varies) England in the 1370s. Have you found the connection?

Hello Kyle, i found this link on The Davenport Family page on FB. I missed the reunion this past Saturday (vacation); would loved to have been there. My link to the Davenport family is through Elizabeth Betty Jane Davenport, my great grandmother. She is the daughter of Miles M. Davenport & Catherine Gulley Davenport. I'm not a relative, but my step-granddaughter is the 5th great granddaughter of Sylvester McAttee. Granddaughter of Raymond Sylvester McAttee. She's short on time but beginning to work on genealogy to find out more about her beloved grandmother, Lois McAttee Coy--my husband's first wife. I spend some time every week researching for clues to forward to her. So excited to see the picture of Sylvester! Thanks.

I have a couple of pictures of John Ray Witcher. Apparently he lost his way in life at some point and somehow found himself in Eddyville Pen. where the pic's were taken. I'd be happy to email scans of them to you. He sent them to Lois Linville and I'm related by marriage to the Linvilles. Thanks, Rob Faulkner
