"Elizabeth Kinsey and Jonathan Young married in Cumberland County, KY 29 Aug 1805. It is likely that Elizabeth, born in 1786, is a daughter of Johannes and Chloe Kinsey, and that Jonathan, born in 1785, is the son of Robert Young, of Franklin County, VA. This would bring up the interesting situation that Elizabeth's widowed mother married Jonathan's widowed father,(marriage recorded in Franklin County, VA on 7 Mar 1789). Thus Jonathan and Elizabeth would have been raised from childhood as siblings, though having no blood kinship.

Jonathan and Elizabeth are buried near Glasgow, Illinois. Her birth date, from her grave marker, was 1786/7, which matches that of the Kinsey family records. Jonathan and Elizabeth named a daughter Chloe and a son Robert, further strengthening the above connection."
