Thomas Richard Gardiner lists in his book on the Gardiner family a James Boarman (1687-1715), s/o William Boarman and Jane Neale; m. ca 1710 Mary Jane Thompson; d/o William Thompson and Victoria Matthews; their children: Mary, b. 1711, James, b. 1713. Mr. Gardiner further states that Mary Boarman, b. 1711; d. 1769; m. by 1733 to William Bowling (d. 1789) and had John, William, Joseph, Francis, Mary and Thomas Bowling.
