Narrative

Eulalia (or Ulalia) March, daughter of Richard and Joan (Martyn?) March, married Henry Burt at Dean Prior, co. Devon, December 28, 1619. She died in New England August 29, 1690.[1][2]

Ulalia (sic) _______, wife of Henry Burt, was born in England. There is a tradition that Ulalia was laid out for dead in England, and put in her coffin, but signs of life appearing at her funeral, she recovered, came to New England, and was the mother of nineteen children. Her death in Springfield is thus recorded, ‘Widow Vlaliah Burt was sick & died Aug, 19, 1690.’ [3]
