Family of Richey, James? and Caldwell?, Margaret?

Married Wife Caldwell?, Margaret? ( * + ... )

Parents just a guess at this time from . James s/o Alexander Richey and Jane Caldwell from Derry Co, Ireland. Names and places in this family are clearly ours but unsure of the lineage. Alexander and son John were blacksmiths, like Robert, Gideon, Jeff... Possibly intead a brother of Alexander (other sons of Samuel Richey and Lydia Moore) that came with him thru PA to VA.
William Richey, Abednego Inman (husband of Mary Richey), and Robert Blackburn (husband of Margaret Richey) were all neighbors in Jonesborough, Washington Co, NC/TN during the 1780's.

Says Abednego Inman married Mary Richey d/o John Richey and Jane Davis -
[must have confused Mary or Margaret with someone else - Margaret married Robert Blackburn]

Margaret was said to have a brother Gideon b~1747 VA d Greene or Jefferson Co, TN (Gideon is a common name in our Richey's)
Gideon has a NC Land Grant in Greene County, TN/NC in 1786 -
(Abednego & Shadrack Inman there too)

In Washington Co, NC/TN:
John Ritchie
Thomas Ritchie, Constable in 1782
William Ritchie
associated names Dickson, Blackburn, and Woods.

William Richey VA-> Washington Co, TN was possibly father of Thomas:
and from
Thomas Richey married (2) ROSANNA TRIMBLE October 09, 1793 in Knox Co., Tennessee, daughter of John Trimble and Susannah Woods. Named a son Robert and spelled name "Richey"

William said to have married Margaret:
and married Margaret McKee here in Judy Hiatt's tree:

"William and his brother, John Richey had numerous North Carolina Revolutionary War Grants in the Jonesborough area, on the Great Wagon Road and the Limestone River. They first moved to this area during the Revolutionary War in 1777. "

John Richey b~1750 Augusta Co, VA m. Mary Hardin.
"He took land grants in Washington Co TN at least in 1782. If you lived in this spot at that time you were surely an Indian fighter. His first grant was on the Big Limestone River. He later moved to what is now Green Co. on Lick Creek.",TN::richey::1286.html
