Marion Roberson, 80, dies in Texas - son of Nathan Newton (?!) and Nancy
Gattis Roberson - Died in Stephenville, TX on Jan. 23, 1949. Native of
Franklin Co. TN, born and reared in the Faris Chapel Community. Went to
Texas in 1889, and located in Erath Co, TX, where he married and reared
a family of 3 girls and 4 boys. Survived by wife and children, one
brother,Charlie Roberson, a sister, Mrs. Fronia Payne, both of Franklin
Co. Two othersisters, Mrs. Roy Howerton and Mrs. Rebecca Faris, reside
in Texas.
Winchester (TN) CHRONICLE, 9 Oct 1958, Thursday:
Services Held For Charlie T. Roberson, 81, a resident of WInchester,
