Narrative

Buddy served in the Army AF as a 1st Lt., during WWII. He entered the service 4/29/1944 and was discharged on 1/13/1946 due to a heart attack while in the service. He was assigned to the 499th AAF Base Unit, 49-4th Street, San Francisco, CA. He was awarded the American Theater Ribbon, The WWII Victory Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He was also issued a Legal Button. Buddy graduated from the University of Kansas City (UMKC?) in 1931 and received his Law License 11/23/1929. Buddy participated in general law practice; tried both civil and criminal cases in all courts; wrote legal papers, i.e., trial briefs and pleadings, and drew all customary legal documents. He was married twice. Buddy's first marriage to Ruth Keyton ended in divorce on 1/13/1939 in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, MO. His second marriage was to Elsie Craig. Elsie was a Christian Scientist. Buddy died at home of a coronary occlusion (8415 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, KS)
