Robert A. Stoeltzing, 66, LeeÕs Summit, formerly of Olathe, Kan., died Thursday, May 31, 2001, in Royal Oak, Mich. Mr. Stoeltzing was born May 29, 1935, in Kansas City, the son of August Stoeltzing and Nellie McRoberts Stoeltzing. He was a 1954 graduate of Shawnee Mission High School and a 1963 graduate of Bob Jones University. He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 through 1962. He helped start the Berean Bible Church in Olathe in 1966. He was credit manager for King Radio Corp. in Olathe, retiring after 25 years of service. Recently, he was grounds manager at Tri City Ministries in Independence. His survivors include his wife of 43 years, Martha Stoeltzing, of the home; his sons, Kenneth Stoeltzing and wife, Christine, Virginia Beach, Va., Bryan Stoeltzing and wife, Angie, Roan Mountain, Tenn., and Craig Stoeltzing and wife, Michal, Blue Springs; a daughter, Dana Mcllwaine, and husband, Robert, Warren, Mich.; his sister, Norma Adams and husband, Glenn, Olathe; his aunts, Virginia Beckmann and husband, Everett, Odessa, and Clara Brown, Fresno, Calif.; his uncle, Homer Stoeltzing and wife, Helen, Prescott, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Tri City Baptist Church. Interment in Mount Moriah Cemetery will be private. Friends can visit from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Tri City Baptist Church, 4500 Little Blue Parkway, Independence. Memorial contributions can be made to the church in his memory.
