HENRY F. CASSELL OF TALLULAH, LA. DIES HERE TODAY

Funeral Services in Canton Friday Morning, 11 O'clock

Henry Franklin Cassell, aged 69 years, a well known and highly esteemed resident of
Tallulah, La., died in Vicksburg this morning, having been brought here for treatment.

For a long time Mr. Cassell was the county agricultural agent at Tallulah, but for the
past few years had been retired. He was popular with a wide circle of friends, who will
be deeply grieved to learn of his passing.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Watts Cassell, two daughters, Mrs. Ollie Cassell
Emery, Tallulah, La., and Mrs. H. D. Owens, Winona, Miss.; three sons, Heard Franklin
Cassell, New Orleans, La., Henry S. Cassell, Amite, La., James William Cassell, Fairfield,
Ala.; four sisters, Miss Mary E. Cassell, Miss Cornelia Cassell and Mrs. Annie Allen, all
of Canton, Miss. and Mrs. Lula Clarke, Shelby, Miss., and three brothers, John Cassell,
Dallas, Tex., Albert Cassell, Tupelo, Miss., and James W. Cassell, Chattanooga. Tenn.,
the latter formerly resided in Vicksburg, and numerous other relatives.

The remains were prepared for burial by Undertaker Fisher, and will be at the Fisher
Funeral Home until Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock when the funeral cortege will proceed
to Canton where services will be held at the Methodist church in that town at 11 a. m.,
with interment taking place in the Canton cemetery.

The Rev. C. W. Wesley, Methodist minister of Canton, will officiate.
