[kdd: descendants originally believed Martha married a Huffines first so weren't sure what her maidenname was, however she moved with Daniel H Huffines to Grassy, Williamson Co, IL, and I know he had a younger sister of the right age. Descendants of Martha Boswell are DNA matches to me, a Huffines descendant, so I conclude she was probably a Huffines. Also son John's death cert says she was "Martha Huffvine"]

BIOGRAPHY: From Amy Boswell: "Martha applied for a pension on behalf of a minor child on August 17, 1870, as well as a widow pension in 1863. John B.P would have been 17 in 1870, so I suspect it was for him."
