A puzzle - No indication in census that "Elisha A Hufhines" was a minister (says "farmer") , yet see references to "Rev E A Huffines" in both Simpson Co, KY and Sumner Co, TN. I don't find anyone else in the census who could be this reverend ( "Rev Elisha A Huffines" on findagrave, buried in Jerrigan Cemetery in Sumner Co, TN), so conclude it must be him. Furthermore, looks like he remarried( after 1880 to a much younger wife) and had daughter "Elisha Almar Huffines" buried next to him and wife. Looks like daughter named after him.
