Smith, Ephraim Bethuel 1

Birth Name Smith, Ephraim Bethuel
Gender male
Age at Death about 24 years, 4 months

Narrative

cannot confirm the fate of Bethuel. Does not appear in the census - perhaps it's a civil war event.

Now that we know his mother was Clarissa Harvey, it appears he was named after both his father's father ( Ephraim ) and his mother's father (Bethuel ).

note - there is a Bethuel Smith (with other Smith's ) in Saline County, AR 1887, but definitely no Smith's from NY in AR 1860 census.
