Sgt. George D. Batson, 1502 Eighteenth ave., S., is now in a hospital In Tokyo undergoing treatment for wounds received in November in Korea. The son of Mrs. Clara D. Batson, he enlisted in the air force Nov. 13, 1948. and underwent recruit training at Lackland air base, Tex.":. He later attended the air force teletype operator school in Denver, Col. He has been attached to General MacArthur's office in Tokyo the past two and one-half years and was wounded while on a mission over Korea. 1 1 Smk mm 4405th WAF squadron.
