"M S Davenport" in both 1891 Male Voter Polls Jackson and Macon Counties. Probably "M S" is Martin S in Jackson, and that Miles moved to Macon, but died before 1900. In the 1900 Census Macon County, a widowed mother "Clar" or "Clarence" or "Clarrisse" b. 1851 has a daughter named Lizzie J b. 1888. This daughter married "Arthur Stubblefield" Jul 23 1909 in Macon Co, and the couple continued to live with the mother thru 1920.

He appears in a photo of Martin Davenport's family about 1898, so most have died shortly thereafter.

couple from Eliza Jane Davenport's death cert, provided by Jeff Davenport. possibly incorrect assignment of who "Miles Davenport" is since Lizzie Jane Davenport sold her 1/5th stake in Andrew J Davenport's land. Her father could have been "Cisero M(iles?) Davenport", s/o Andrew, who also died before 1900.
